Huntly printed plastic cards
A castle town with an international arts project
Huntly is a town of about 4,550 people (2020) in Aberdeenshire, formerly known as Milton of Strathbogie, where the Bogie and Deveron rivers meet. People have settled here since the Neolithic period, and the town is the site of Huntly Castle and the historic home of the Gordon Highlanders. Its station, opened in 1854, is on the Aberdeen to Inverness line.
The Gordon Schools, the town’s secondary, stands beside the castle, with Gordon Primary nearby. Schools this size need plastic staff ID, visitor passes and contractor cards, and a durable card lasts all year.
We print plastic cards the size and thickness of a bank card, with a photo, name, role and logo, colour-coded for staff, visitors and contractors.
Every card is printed in full colour on both sides, so the back can carry safeguarding contacts.
Artists, owls and visitors
Deveron Projects invites artists from around the world to live and work in the town, and visiting artists and project staff can carry ID that tells locals who they are. Four owls from the local falconry centre appeared in the Harry Potter films, and visitor attractions like this can give staff and handlers photo ID.
