Pittenweem personalised ID
The East Neuk’s busiest fishing port
Pittenweem is a fishing village of about 1,450 people (2020) on the east coast of Fife, built on a raised beach. It was a royal burgh from 1541 to 1975, and its name means ‘the place of the caves’ after St Fillan’s Cave, its oldest structure, dating from the 7th century.
Pittenweem is the most active fishing port on the East Neuk coast, with a deep, safe harbour sheltered by its breakwaters. Fishing boats, harbour workers and the firms that land, handle and transport the catch can give crews and staff personalised photo ID showing their name, role and vessel or company.
We personalise each card with a photo, name and role, and can add a vessel name, company logo or staff number.
Every card is printed in full colour on both sides, so the back can carry an emergency contact.
An arts festival that draws 25,000
Pittenweem Arts Festival started in 1982 and drew an estimated 25,000 visitors in 2013, with artists showing work in venues around the village. Artist and venue passes, steward badges and volunteer ID help visitors find their way. Pittenweem Primary School needs staff badges and visitor passes.

Passes for a village-wide festival
