ID Card Printing in Wimborne Minster
ID cards for Wimborne’s aerospace and defence engineers, contractors, heritage volunteers, shops, schools and carers, printed in full colour on both sides and sent next day.
Wimborne ID cards
ID for aerospace and defence engineering
Wimborne has a long aerospace history. In 1963, Cobham moved its manufacturing to a new site at Ashington, Wimborne, where the company developed its aerial refuelling business. That business, Cobham Mission Systems, was bought by Eaton in 2021 and still designs and builds air-to-air refuelling equipment in the town.
Defence and aerospace manufacturers handle sensitive work, and sites are carefully controlled. Engineers, fitters, quality and test teams, visiting customers and contractors all need ID that shows who they are and which areas they can enter.
We print company ID cards with each person’s photo, name, department and employee number, colour-coded by access area. Visitor and contractor cards can be dated and numbered so they’re easy to log and collect.
Every card is printed in full colour on both sides, so the back can carry site rules, a security number or a lost-card return address. Any security clearance or site pass issued by a customer or the government is separate; we print the company ID worn alongside it.
Volunteer ID for heritage sites
Wimborne is home to the Minster and its chained library, and the National Trust’s Kingston Lacy estate lies just outside the town. Heritage sites rely on volunteers and staff who need clear name badges.

Cards for controlled sites
On a controlled site, security staff need to read a card in a second.
