Work ID Cards for Hither Green’s Rail and Depot Teams
Work ID for the freight depot contractors, rail maintenance crews and training teams based around Hither Green in south Lewisham, sent next day to SE13.
Hither Green rail & depot ID
A railway suburb on the Prime Meridian
Hither Green forms the southern part of Lewisham, 6.6 miles south-east of Charing Cross, right on the Prime Meridian. The railway shaped it: the station runs services to Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Orpington, Sevenoaks and Gravesend, and beside the line sits Hither Green TMD, a depot opened by the Southern Railway in 1933 to serve its new marshalling yard.
The depot is still used for maintaining and servicing freight trains, and the lines around it need maintenance crews, engineers and contractors. Rail and depot site passes are issued by the operators; we print the company work ID your teams wear alongside them, with a photo, name, trade and employer.
We colour-code work ID by crew or shift and add a staff number or barcode for your own records.
Every card is printed in full colour on both sides, so the back can carry a control room number or emergency contact.
For general ID card printing in Hither Green, see our Hither Green ID card printing page.
Training centres and local firms
Hither Green’s driving test centre is one of the largest in south London, handling more than 1,000 tests a month, and driving and training firms need instructor ID. Local trades and service firms working from the area need doorstep ID that residents can check.

Shift crews and new starters
Rail and depot teams work round the clock, so supervisors need to spot new starters fast.

Your design stays on file, so cards for new carers can be ordered whenever they join, sent next day to SE13.
Colour printing on both sides
Both sides of every card are printed in full colour. Rail contractors often print the control room number and PPE rules on the back.
